Hello everyone of Chocolateclan and elsewhere! First of all, a thank-you to everyone who joined!! Chocolateclan needs warriors. If you have not joined and are interested in doing so, we really need apprentices, queens, elders, and kits at the moment. As for Head Warrior, and medicine cat, that's the point of this post. ;)
There will be a contest for who gets the posistion of medicine cat and head warrior. You will have a week from now until the contest. It will start on Saturday, July 24, 2010. You will be given another week to complete the contest and submit your answers. If you are interested in either the posistion of Head Warrior or medicine cat, please fill out the info below. Remember, you have only until July 24th to enter the contest! There are to be no more enteries after 4:00 on July 24th. Unless you just joined, in which case if you want a posistion and the contest is still going on, then you will be allowed to enter. But if it is over and we already have our head warrior and medicine cat then you will just have to take up a regular posistion.

Mintflight and Chocolatefrost of Chocolateclan
A black and white spotted she-cat ran alongside a dark brown she-cat. They kept their heads low, and they ran fast, their bellies just brushing the ground. The she-cats suddenly stop at a clearing. The couldn't see what ws in the clearing because it was surronded by thick trees. Small pods were hung on this tree. The black and white cat purred and inhaled deeply. "Cocoa pods," she whispered to her companion.
The brown cat sighed happily. "This would be the perfect place to live, Mintflight," she said. "Cocoa beans to eat-nothing could go wrong! We would lead a peaceful, quiet life."
Mintflight shook her head. "As wonderful as it may sound, Chocolatefrost, you know we can't. We have to find the clan that we're meant to be in. But," she added hopefully, "Maybe once we find them, we can convince them to move camp here."
Chocolatefrost looked unconvinced. "It seems so small, though."
Mintflight sighed heavily. "I guess you're right. Let's keep going, then."
"Wait!" Chocolatefrost said. "It's getting late. We could at least spend the night."
Mintflight considered. "Okay, but just this one night. We need to find the clan we belong in-soon!" Chocolatefrost and Mintflight pushed their way the bushes. When they scrambled out, what they saw suprised them.
Cats, cats, lots of cats! They were crouched next to bushes and random nests built of ferns and bramble. They were sharing tounges, eating prey, chasing each other....Mintflight gasped. It was just like a clan!
A brown tabby noticed them standing there with mouths open and bounded over. "Hello," she greeted them warmly. "I'm Lightsong. What are your names?"
"I'm Mintflight," she told Lightsong. "This is my best friend and traveling companion, Chocolatefrost."
Lightsong gasped. Now all of the cats's attention was on them. "I received a dream," she told them. "In my dream, a starry cat told me that the Mint of Flight and the frosted Cocoa Pod would gather us and Unite us as One." Her eyes shone with wonder. "And here you are!" She turned and yowled to the onlookers, "The Mint of Flight and the frosted Cocoa Pod have come!"
The clearing erupted into cheers. Many cats came up to greet them, saying, "I'm so-and-so, what a pleasure to meet you!" and, "We'll finally have a leader at last!" There were so many names......Sharpstone, Featherbreeze, Barkflight....
After all the noise died down, Mintflight said, "So, um, is this our clan? The clan we belong to?" Lightsong's eyes shone with happiness. "Yes! Yes, don't you see? You will be our leaders!"
Mintflight was stunned. "B-but there can't be two leaders, can there?" she asked. "I mean, Chocolatefrost and I can't both be leaders."
Lightsong dipped her head. "Yes, that would be true. One of you will be deputy." she turned her head. "Blackberry!" she called. A skinny black she-cat padded up. "Look at them," Lightsong told her. "Do you know which shall be our leader and which will be our deputy?"
The she-cat scruntinized them. Then she closed her eyes. Then she opened them. "Starclan has shown me that Mintflight must lead us," she murmured. "Chocolatefrost will lead us as well, as deputy."

Mintflight had a new den. But it felt so big and empty she asked Chocolatefrost to sleep with her. It was here that they sat deciding which cat would be medicine cat and which would be head warrior.
"Lightsong was obvious at first, but what about Blackberry?" Mintflight pondered. "She seemed to know a lot about herbs. And she receives dreams from Starclan, too." She thought back to yesterday, when Blackberry had quickly treated their wounds: the twisted paw, the bloody cut, the bruised eye. Now Mintflight could barely feel the pain at all. Yes, Blackberry seemed like a very good canidate for medicine cat.
"But then there's Lightsong," Chocolatefrost argued. "She's pretty good with herbs, too. And if Starclan told her we were to be the leaders of this clan, does that mean that she is supposed to be medicine cat?"
Then there was head warrior. Sharpstone seemed like he would be the best choice, but Mintflight wanted to watch and learn before deciding who head warrior would be.
"We need a clan name," Chocolatefrost said randomly. Mintflight realized she was right. she grinned.
"I know the perfect name," she meowed. "Follow me."
The she-cats stood outside. Chocolatefrost gathered everyone. "Everyone," Mintflight started. "We need a clan name. Who likes chocolate?" There was a lot of "I do!"s and Me!"s. "Then we will be Chocolateclan!" Mintflight declared.
